8 MONTHS = 1 DAY
Effie Nanas Ballet presents: Enchanted Ballets
November 6 2011 Sunday, 5pm at Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (CCP Main Theater)We rehearsed for 8 months or maybe more for a very special day to all of us. I remember the RT’s in twitter on how many weeks/days left before the very big day. (who else is guilty aside from me?! *EHEM* haha!)
The last time I danced was 7 years ago. yes, i stopped. but you know, something about it made me miss it so much. i just don’t know how to explain and put it into words. I never thought that i’d be back performing on stage again. heehee and it felt really awesome! like i’m home again. ♥
The production is composed of 2 parts: Snow White and Nutcracker (Clara’s Dream). Can i just say that the whole show is just WOW? from the props to the stage back drops and costume, everything was amazing and pretty. compared to the other recitals back then. HAHA and i got very emotional at the end. especially when we were all clapping for teacher Effie. #tearyeyed
So here are some photos from November 5 and November 6

Guess
Subsequent to the L’Oréal Paris presents Michael Cinco show, my beautiful blog friends and I got going to Guess, merci beaucoup to Reg and Katie for my invite. :) Youthful and effervescent party lights dripped from the runway ceiling which caught my eyes. Seeing this setup, I expected a lively spectacle and without a doubt, it was!
Distinguished disk jockey Sanya Smith opened the runway with beats that would get you grooving. Wonderfully styled casual wear dominated the catwalk and the loud leopard looks were absolutely the apple of my eyes. Someone scream rawr! ;)
I spent the night with the cheerful company of these beautiful bloggers; Angel, Keigh, Ava, and Kaye. Together with Hash, Aie and Bianca. It was nice meeting you both! <3 Special thanks to Kaye for taking my outfit photos for the night. :)

A glamorous and increasingly common type of a girl: Late lunch date with Keigh!
Keigh is a fashion blogger in blogspot. She hosted a blog giveaway weeks ago, and luckily I’m the winner of her giveaway.
The prize was Olay products (which I already gave to my mom) and a bonus of late lunch in Cibo and a Mega Magazine, May issue.
Here’s a gratuitous picture of myself…
So how have I been
As I am writing (or rather typing, heh) this entry, I really have no idea where and how to begin. I don’t know what part of my so-called “exciting” life (with matching gesture pa) should I share in this blog.
Anyway, the wake up call arrived just this morning. I was browsing through some blogs for a client and gratefully I landed on Mitch Mauricio’s site. And then voila! In less than a minute, I already got inspired to update blog (finally, thank God!)
With so many things that has happened, let me give you quick bites about my life as photographer! (naaaks)
My First Published Photo!
I collaborated with my good friend and fashion blogger, Keigh Jalbuena for her feature in the Fashion & Beauty Section of Philippine Star. The feature was published last July 20 (I know, so long ago already!) and I was extremely happy when I saw the actual paper!!
We had the photoshoot last June at Ayala Triangle. Here are some of the photos:
My unending thanks to Keigh for trusting me on her first broadsheet feature!
My First Photo Gallery - my own panel! Hihihi
It was for Noeie’s client. She asked me to submit nature themed photos for their event in SMX. I am deeply humbled by this experience and I didn’t expect that I’ll be having my own panel this soon! Woohoo!
I’m really honored to be part of this list! Thank you, Green Philippines!
So there… I’m off to place where there are blue skies, white beach and good-looking foreigners lurking around…. Until next post! :-)
aseo:
Was invited to be the guest speaker for a talk on Vector and Graphic Illustrations. Not my first time but I’m still not used to speaking into crowds so there. see you assumptionista’s :)
